Yes, definitely. You could probably mention Steve Davis as well , but that's it really. This is a professional sport , and these guys are playing each other non-stop to win the big money and tournaments. Not the best place for building up a friendship.

Hendry himself has said countless times that during the tournaments he never spoke to anyone, he was there to win not to make friends. It was only after the tournaments that he would spend a bit of time with them, and it was very little too cause he wasn't a party man. Ronnie is pretty much the same, and in a Professional Sport as you rightly say you got to be like that if you want to suceed.

Ronnie used to practice and hang out with Liang Wenbo a lot, don't know if he still does. Ronnie also practiced with Peter Ebdon in 2013. Some people think Ronnie hates Ebdon but he doesn't. Jimmy White is definitely a friend of Ronnie and so was the late great Paul Hunter.
