Out of interest, how many centuries behind Hendry are Barry Hawkins and Ali Carter? #centurywatch

Hopefully Ali's got some much needed practice in over the Christmas break with that ridiculous loss against Zhang Anda in the L128 at the barbican in his mind.

It might have been classy of Hendry to congratulate Ronnie. Ah well, that's the Jocks for ya.

Ronnie hasn't overtaken him yet...
Does Hendry have to congratulate every time Ronnie gets one closer?

He will congratulate him when he comments on his match against Fu
He said previously he would like to be on the coom box when Ronnie breaks his record, and he'll do it I'm sure v Fu.
But ironic really Ronnie equalled it on Hendry's birthday
Couldn't have been much better.

Do we really need a standing ovation every time for Carter?

Snooker time. Just looked it up, and neither player has a good record here. Hawkins has never won a match, while Carter has only gone to the quarters once.
Anyway, hope Carter wins this.

I think it's excessive at this point as well, but the audience choose to do it.

I was struggling not to cry there. It was a very touching and emotional reception which the crowd gave to Carter.

This is the sixth match of the 2015 Master.
There are three referees.
We've seen Alex Crisan referee one match.
Discuss.

Then that should be the complaint. He didn't get one then.
Not that he's getting one now.
Ps. I've had seven beers today. Maybe eight.

The BBC commentators talking about the Snooker Legends cup like it's some big tournament.
Translation: They've all played in it, and it's the only snooker they've watched in the last 12 months.

Imagine that, and they've got a financial interest in it as well.
Not sure I can watch this; it's gonna go on and on. Glad the Captain is ok and back etc but teeth-pulling ain't my thang.

Obviously after Paul Hunter, snooker fans are just glad their heroes aren't dropping dead at a young age from cancer. Add Crones into the mix and yeah, I'm no fan of Carter but I have to admire his resilience and the audience clearly does as well. He's a home-boy down there after all, so a good reception was guaranteed.

That's right, meat eaters and cancer sufferers should be booed equally. He's a chutney ferret if there ever was one.

Barry is really doing bad after the Bond-defeat.
But then again, there are two kinds of people: Alis (Carter, Muhammad) how get ovet every problem they face, and there are other people :)

The hawk needs to stop being a dove. He could get rolled over if he doesn't win one soon; he's fragile enough under pressure as it is.
