Sunday 26th of October~Sunday 2nd of November in Chengdu, China

A few shocks in the last 64 inparticular John Higgins, Stephen Maguire and Graeme Dott but the Main challangers are still there Ronnie O'Sullivan, Neil Robertson, Shaun Murphy, Mark Allen, Barry Hawkins and Judd Trump.

Also still there to make up for the very early loss of Ding Junhui is first year pro Zhou Yuelong who is from Chendgu and amataur Zhao Xintong who is building up a impressive list of wins even before he gets on Tour.

Who will progress to the last 16?

It's a shame that such a big tournament is dogged by sloppy coverage, I really wish Hearn would at least try to get better coverage over here, if he really believes China was the future then he needs to sort that out.

BBC, ITV or Sky Sports should be covering this, it's a major event that should have higher exposure, the sub-standard commentary and poor quality just kills it IMO.

Snooker does not revolve around the UK.

It gets Coverage on Chinese Channels and secondary coverage on Eurosport the same as French Open Tennis gets.

Yeah I get that but doesn't make it right, or bearable, Eurosport's production of the sport is just shambolic, and don't get me started on the coverage.

It's a shame that's our only choice.

"For some reason" yes.. That´s because Mark´s a mentally much tougher player.
