Gould would have his work cut out though, since he's never beaten Murphy (aside from one group match in the CL).

Gould's break stopped at 42 (the score is 42-13), but I don't have any clue of how the table is.....

Good start for Martin Gould in the season. He reached the semis at Wuxi and now the final at Sofia, with a perspective to win the title.

Murphy is still the favourite to win, though.

Hopefully the same doesn't happen when he met Murphy at the PTC Grand Finals 3 years ago, when Murphy thrashed him in the Final 4-0.

Gould is a very good player, love to watch him play, and he deserves a title like this.

Murphy just too strong, great run by White though.

The only time they have played each other in PTC/European Tour events was the final of the Grand Final in 2011 Murphy winning 4-0.

Since then they played 6 times with Murphy winning 5.

Last time they played was in March this year Gould winning 3-2 in the championship league.

If Gould doesn't take those chances he'll get beat fairly easily by Murphy I feel.

But Gould couldn't take advantage of his opportunity and this is the kind of table Murphy loves.
