2015/2016 Season

Postby fridge46

Although nothing has been officially announced, I think we are going to see addition "nominations" for next years tour because applying this years criteria will only give 126 players:

Top 64: 64
2nd of 2 year card: max 31 (depending on whether some make the Top 64)
Euro OOM: 8
Asia OOM: 4
EBSA OOM: 2 (changed from 3, see ET1 entry pack for details)
QSchool: 8
IBSF: 2 (World & U21)
Europe: 2 (EBSA Championship & U21)
Asia: 2 (ACBS Championship & U21)
Oceania: 1 (OBSF Championship)
Africa: 1 (ABSF Championship)
Americas: 1 (All-Americans Championships)

TOTAL: max 126

So where are the other 2 places coming from? Addition QSchool places? To the best performers over all QSchool events? Hendry/Davis/Wattana invitation extension?

Any thoughts?

I Think there should be tour spaces available to best performing top up players in main ranking event during the season.

Oliver Brown in pole position after Wuxi and Australia qualifiers.

There shouldnt be more qualifying routes it should be made simpler so maybe World Snooker would finally get it right
Its amazing they cant make it 128 after 3 years and yet they still managed to almost triple the total prize money on the tour
What would happen if there was a guy on top of World Snooker who could actually count to 128?
