Well, there's a first time for everything I suppose. Although I think Robbo is more likely.

I just meant that it isn't often he'd be favorite considering his record at winning ranking events. You accuse my post of lacking meaning, but at least my posts make grammatical sense. Have you heard of a comma or a semicolon? Here, take some; do not be afraid to use them, liberally;;;;;;;,;,;,;,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,;;;;;,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Graeme played zhou Yuelong in Aptc1 of 2013 winning 4-2. The chinese boy
played very well though.

My Mistake in fact they played twice before once in the Wuxi Classic 2012 Last 32 Dott winning 5-1 after Zhou Yuelong beat Michael white 5-4 in the wild card round

Yes, I do write rubbish on occasions. That's a fair comment Wild. However, I assure you I have heard of snooker.

Just remembered about this. Checking out the Eurosport listings. Not sure how much of this I'll be able to see. It snuck up on me a bit, and I'm quite busy next week.

Will try and see as much of it as I can, but I may need to rely on you good fellows to keep me informed. :hatoff:

Andy Spark wrote:There you go, I said Robertson would be favorite rather than Selby and he is with most bookies. :-)

The Form Robertson showed in Gloucester to get to Wuxi was a big indication of how focus he is early season and is a very strong favorite in my book.

Not according to this document (3rd paragraph at the bottom):

"Players who qualify for the final stages of an event but do not subsequently attend that event, for whatever reason, will not receive any prize money, nor will they receive any contribution towards the prize money ranking"

i think that's right as well.

Agree, like I said in another thread, I think some players would rather prefer to go back to the pre-Hearn era with only 6 rankers per season.

But I fully understand with so many tournaments nowadays a player picking and choosing those he wants to enter, thats fine, as long as if you do enter the event, you better attend it and play, unless a last minute incident occurs like a family member dying, illness, that sort of thing.

Players definately cant complain in my view, ok things still arent perfect in many areas of the game but hell no sport in the world is perfect and fully fair, but the work Hearn has done to promote and take the game forward needs to be fully recognised.

Surely in this instance he has reasonable grounds for complaint as he won't be there due to visa problems? Perhaps the new rule needs tweaking for this reason as long as he can prove he made every effort to apply for one.
