City of Melbourne 16-18 May (Goldfields wild card qualifier)
I believe this is again being used to select two players for the Australian Goldfields Open, assume the rules are the same as previously - top Australian from wherever, then top other player from Victoria. Glen Wilkinson went out in the Last 32, losing 3 - 1 to Henry Lau.
Last 16
Adrian Ridley 3 - 2 Ben Judge
Shaun Dalitz 3 - 2 Kurt Dunham
Steve Donohoe 3 - 2 James Mifsud
Robby Foldvari 3 - 2 Shawn Budd
Matthew Bolton 3 - 1 Rudy Sulaeman (Indonesia)
Henry Lau 3 - 2 Peter Hawkes
Johl Younger 3 - 1 JoeMinici
Arthur Lin 3 - 2 Stephen Burford
Quarter finals
Shaun Dalitz 4 - 3 Adrian Ridley
Robby Foldvari 4 - 3 Steve Donohoe
Matthew Bolton 4 - 1 Henry Lau
Johl Younger 4 - 3 Arthur Lin
Semi finals
Shaun Dalitz 4 - 3 Robby Foldvari
Matthew Bolton 4 - 1 Johl Younger
Final
Matthew Bolton 5 - 1 Shaun Dalitz
That's Bolton 'in' for the Goldfields, last year Dalitz qualified too as runner-up (to Steve Mifsud), so guessing he's from Victoria (Edit - yes he is, from Wodonga, Victoria) and gets the second spot again.
