Just been catching up on Inside Snooker and looks like Ebdon and Kyren are friends/practise partners. I would if he'll be getting the organic carrot juice treatment this year? I'm sure Carter's hoping so.

I think he is more of a threat now than he was last week. He certainly played better stuff on Tuesday than he did on Saturday when I think I, as well as most others thought King would simply wipe the floor with him

But its different in qualifiers, when he gets into the crucible im almost sure he will be pretty awful as he was when we saw him play in china.

I certainly wouldnt put him 7th, Mcmanus is much more of a threat than cope.

Also, just 20 of the 32 finalists from last year line up in 2014

Not a bad line-up of qualifiers, some potential dangers are lurking amongst that lot, Saturday can't come soon enough.

Love this time of year, the WC is such an unknown quantity, solid snooker for 17 days - can't wait! I hope this tournament lives on for eternity, you just can't beat it!

Ok, it must've been 2011 when I interviewed him then because I know there was a gap but for some reason I was thinking he'd only played twice there until then.

He has a decent World Championship record once he's qualified so It wouldn't really be beyond him to be a nuisance at the finals. Whoever he plays will start favourite but unless they play well, could lose.
