Billiards - Gilchrist's 1000 break at Irish Open

In the quarter finals of the Irish Open 15-16 February, Peter Gilchrist (who these days competes for Singapore) made his second ever break of 1000 or more, according to the WPBSA only the 5th 1000 in the modern era. Gilchrist holds the highest modern era score with a 1346 (others are Michael Ferreira 1149, Geet Sethi 1276 and Mike Russell 1137).
