As it is only mentioned in small letters but deserves highlighting:
After he won the first frame scoring a 45 break, he made a 147 maximum in the second. In the 3rd frame he was looking to make back to back maximums as he missed the brown on 125.
where he = Luca Brecel

Yeah, you're right FDC - I should have included it in the subject line, I'll amend to do so.
I think that's the 3rd 147 he's made now, certainly at least 3 - I included these in the topic I did on amateur and pro-am competition 147's (

Luca doesnt seem to have progressed ranking wise. Am I being impatient or is his progress stunted?

He's still a boy and maybe has assumed he'll make it regardless. He plays some crazy shots, clearly lacking a cool head but it's so much in contrast to his path to the Crucible a couple of years ago where he was so level headed and nothing phased him. If he gets that mentality back he'll be world champion within 5 years.
But look at him v Maguire in York a couple of months ago. He had Maguire beaten, yet played some stupid shots like escaping from a snooker with a hit and hope when he didn't need to and banging other shots around the table just like Maguire was doing. If he continues to do that he'll end up long forgotten.
