Effective H2H. As always, PTCs excluded are in brackets, and for Murphy v Dott the excluded match in the brackets is their Brazil Masters final which could be considered an exho.

Allen v Higgins 4-4 (3-3)
Dott v Murphy 1-6 (1-5)
Selby v Angles 0-1
Joyce v Fu 0-2

Marco Fu is still there

Mark Selby v Alan McManus

Mark Allen v John Higgins

Graeme Dott v Shaun Murphy

Not lookin good for Alan at the mom,he,s 3-1 down at the MSI.

It,s too tough a task expecting old fogey :gramp: Alan,(43) to beat Selbs these days, although he did have chances
He,s done very well to get this far in a ranking tourney,he,s had a very good run lately by his todays standards, lets hope it continues.

Even though Higgins came back to beat Trump from 4-0 down, nothins a gimme with him these days,he,s been like that for a good while now,you really just don,t know what you,re gonna get,his best days are history,i just can,t see him maintaining good to great form on a regular, consistent basis anymore.

It would,nt surprise me at all if he were to beat Allen today though,as Allens been also dire by his standards for a good while.

If any of these 3 has a chance of winning todays matches, then it,ll be Dott,Dotts also become a bit like John as far as his best days is concerned, sure,he can still play decent stuff now and again but his standard of play has also plunged and he also can,t maintain being consistent for a longish period.

I think Higgins has by far the best chance to reach the semis of those 3.

Yep,shame Alan missed the easy brown which would have left Selbs needin a snooker,he would of also landed plum on the blue.

Selbs then clears up from brown to black to force a respot in which Alan plays a very sloppy safety that gives Selbs a chance to pot it and in it goes,no way back for Alan now. :dizzy:

So,it,s time for hendry_fan to get off his lazy butt and do some work. :-D
