Monday 10th ~ Sunday 16th of March in Hainan, China

So the draw has been whittled down to 32 players and there still haven’t been many major shocks, with number six seed Stephen Maguire and number fifteen seed Joe Perry being the only big name casualty.

As we get nearer to the business end of the tournament, ranking points become increasing important as the majority of the tour only have this event to ensure a favourable seeding position for the World Championship, and for the top 16, ensure the best draw possible for the venue stages.

Still many good people players in this event. Can Mark Allen make it a hatrick or will another player finally end his run in this event? Will there be more shocks on the path to the last 16 as every player finds opposition getting more difficult?

Ding has been strugling in this match by all accounts not seen it all but when the pressure was on he delivered.

Mark of a champion.

its not about steem rolling players its about responding to a threat.

If you steamroller players then you don't have to respond to their threats. A mark of a champion is ability to avoid tight finishes in matches whenever possible.

if you Steamroll players you dont have to show bottle.

its easy playing well from start to finish of a match because momentum carries you on.

however going from struggling to discovering form is what separates great from good.

:goodpost:

I couldn't agree more. A champion just finds a way to win.

When they put your name on the trophy, there isn't space for them to explain how you did it.
