But Ronnie did enough and that's all that matters.
He started that in the third and his level already dropped in the second.

Well done Ronnie 4-1. I think Ronnie was a bit distracted by his cue, he seemed to lose concentration in the second frame having started the match off very well. I hope Ronnie's cue is OK. I feel he probably had another gear in reserve, expect him to play better if tested.

Only in PTCs right?
Well their match tomorrow will be best of 7 as well. Plus the only other time they've played (China Open) ROS only got past 5-3 and that was about 5 years ago.

Yes, it's also best of 7 but Ronnie is trying much harder in proper ranking events like this. Also it's the only match of his day, so he'll be very focused tomorrow.
Xiao will have to start well to have a chance.

I dont think ronnie will have a problem.
He is not keen on short frame matches but barry pinches is awkward opponent for most players.
He is unorthodox in lots of ways , No disrespect to the man.

Think it odd they have ROS third match. Means he could be halfway through his match and BBC Wales cut off depending how long MJW and Robbo takes.

Yeah thought so myself, since he's had his sessions 7 p.m maybe he should have had tomorrow as well.
This means most likely I'll miss the end of his match as I have to leave around 4 p.m and only return about 7 p.m.

It's funny how the post count and general forum activity on here seems to pick up whenever Ronnie's playing.

Hope McManus beats King here and sets up a clash between 2 Scots and great friends, and then wouldn't mind him beating Haggins
Alan has rediscovered some good form at the end of last season and this one.

I'm all for good safety battles, but they're very annoying to follow on live scores.

This frame will never end
First was the yeallow, now the blue.
Mind you must a good safety battle or they're missing everything now.

Ding v Woolaston won't be the evening TV match though, it is instead Mags v Pagget.
