Mark Selby will win this, I reckon. But Mavis won't make it easy for him.

Not so sure about that. Davis isn't playing as well as he did last season, in fact he played awful in some of the matches I watched him this season. Selby will win comfortably tomorrow.

Well, we'll find out. I'm off up there today. Just waiting for my mate to arrive, and am going to jump on a train.
Enjoy the matches people.

The Beeb always acting like everything that happens off their channels doesn't matter... Mind you, it refered to Steve's jungle adventures...

Is that not on the Beeb? I genuinely care so little about that sort of rubbish that I don't know.

You might have to be more careful with calling people Mark in this match
But no, Mavis not playing great, never won a match here and has never beaten Selby in a match that matters.

Funny that Hazel calls Steve a part timer and rest full timers when everyone else except Kendo aren't even on the tour anymore.

Yeah, it was Selby obviously, but as you said mavis not playing great so only an inspired performance from him can see him through.

Looks like the Beeb have been nicking ideas from ITV with the ties.

Selby looks in the zone. 2-0 with only one long red missed in live play.

Don't think I'll continue watching this match. Very one sided, as expected. The Masters really starts tonight in my book.

Mark Selby picking Allen for best bottle
He didn't mention Higgins once, seems like he doesn't really appreciate John's game.

just because it's one sided doesnt mean it's interesting or at least worth watching. For me too not the best match to watch, but Selby as defending champ deserves it.
These earpieces problems are getting a bit annoying.

OK, I'll watch the next frame as well but if it goes 3-0, I'm off.

Though I agree SO the Bingo v Higgins match has all the makings of a cracker, unless Higgins is really way off his game, because let's just say I don't expect the contrary in Bingo playing badly. At the moment, that's more likely from Higgins.

3 nil Selby, still a bit early I suppose, but I can see a whitewash in this match the way Mavis is playing.
