Really GJ? a shame then, I guess they can't be on TV all the time, but in a tournament like this both definately deserve to be, but anyway. So I guess we won't even have a stream or something in the morning.

He may have Michael White in the Last 32, and he seems to be playing well, and there have been bigger upsets in snooker that's for sure, like Fu losing to Travis.

Apart from that, possibly Bingo in the quarters.

We are a long way to go until then, and you know sometimes when a quarter seems easy for a top player that's when the biggest upsets come, so there are no garantees here. Just ask Fu. :john:

Robbo being put on in the morning, I can understand. However, the organisers would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did the same for Ronnie.

Even being a Ronnie fan, Robbo deserves as much TV exposure as Ronnie, so I think both should be on TV matches at the same time to avoid problems like the WN1 being on a morning session not televised.

But yeah Ronnie's match will surely be put up in the afternoon session.

I wondered that.

I assumed it was for the benefit of those having a beer with the game, so it wouldn't be confusing which thread to post in. <laugh>

There are some last 64 matches in progress already with last 128 still to start. I think that's the only time it will happen i.e. from tomorrow it'll all be the same round.

Would be a very interesting match up, especially as there's a Masters place up for grabs for the winner. I know Dott's aware of it. Although whoever wins that still needs to do better than Perry, Carter by one round and Dott by two or one if Joe is beaten in last 16 and Graeme makes the quarters.

christ i think that would put a players mind in a jam jar if they think about the Masters.

One ball, one Pot and one frame at a time trying to get wins.

They should, but that doesn't always mean they will.

I know Dott's been thinking about it, as he mentioned it in an article on WS's site. And with the way Carter been moaning about the UK this year and with what he said about liking being in the big arena, he may want to get back in one in January.

Well that could be a reason behind going from 2-0 up to 2-2

Carter whitewashes Jimmy Robertson. No one in the other matches have got past three frames. Silly that there's six hours between the afternoon and evening sessions but only three and a half between morning and afternoon.
