Crucible First

Hi, I`m trying to find out who played the first shot in the first staging of the World Championship at the Crucible in 1977. I am assuming (could be wrong) that defending champion Ray Reardon played in the first match but did he break? Also trying to find the start time if anyone can help. Ta
