'05 Asian Under 21 Champ returns to snooker

Postby roy142857

2005 Asian Under 21 Snooker Champion Moh Keen Hoo of Malaysia (he beat Kobkit Palajin of Thailand) is returning to snooker after a 2 year absence, partly in an attempt to get into the Malaysian team for the South East Asian Games in December.

He's had a bad relationship with the snooker authorities in Malaysia for a while - he was suspended from the national team along with Rory Thor in 2008 for failing to practice (the article says he quit, but that was after being suspended), Thor was immediately contrite and changed his ways but Moh Keen Hoo didn't come back until 2010 I think, and then fell out with the authorities again in 2011.

The article about his return:

Anyone know what happened to Kobkit Palajin? He was runner up at the Asian Under 21s 2 years running (second time to Passakorn Suwannawat), and he beat Gerard Greene at the 2005 China Open - then switched to pool?
