like the true champ he is, Higgins makes a frame winning brake in the decider, as he so often does in these kind of pressure situations. Credit also goes to Justin who seems to play well against Higgins having had a win prior to this encounter, but just fell short on this one.

Surprisngly, the Judd match is the last one still going, 5-4 now to Judd.
Eve Mcleod has managed to finish his match earlier than Judd by winning 6-3

Would certainly be the biggest shock if hte defending champ were to crash out here, though I doubt Judd will lose this match but you never know...

Quality match between Higgins and Astley. Astley played really well, he'd beat a lot of good players in that form.

Finally the match which on paper should have been one of the quickest finishes, Judd winning 6-4 against Cao Xinlong.
Will now play McManus at the venue and this also concludes the Last 128.

Congratulations to Dave Harold for earning another 3500 pounds as Advani will surely not play in China because of the World Billards Championships at the same time.

Dear Sonny
I am a new member and I would like to start a NEW thread. However, before I post it, I would like to discuss it with you FIRST. The subject is: Rules changes to make Snooker a better pocket billiard game.
