Thursday 18th~Sunday 21st of July at the Topsport Centrum, Rotterdam, Netherlands

Rotterdam Open is the Second of 8 events that make up the European Tour and after his success in Bulgaria in event 1 John Higgins will be the top seed.

Making his season debut in this event will be Welsh Open Champion Stephen Maguire and he plays second year Pro Sean O'Sullivan.

Notable absentees will be World Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan who had a good run in Bulgaria, World Open Champion Mark Allen and the evergreen Steve Davis.

Question is will John Higgins add ET2 to his ET1 title, Will Neil Robertson win after being Runner up in Bulgaria or will World No 2 Mark Selby and World No 3 Judd Trump get their European Tour campaign off the Ground?

Last 128 Matches includes

Sean O'Sullivan v Stephen Maguire
Barry Pinches v Marco Fu
Nigel Bond v Liang Wenbo
Anthony McGill v Robin Hull
Michael White v David Morris
Judd Trump v Vinnie Calabrese
Scott Donaldson v Mark Selby
Adam Duffy v Stuart Bingham
Alan McManus v Aditya Mehta
Mark Williams v Jimmy White
Patrick Einsle v Allister Carter
Ben Woollaston v Ricky Walden
Tony Drago v Alexander Ursenbacher
Dominic Dale v Alex Davies

but after Wuxi there's 2 weeks off for Robbo before Australia and then 5 days before he needs to be in holland for this.

plenty of time off.

You don't seriously watch that do you Sonny?

Maybe it's just me but I find it about as exciting as watching paint dry, one gets the feeling people only watch it in the hopes of seeing a good pile up ;-)

I like biking but just can't find entertainment value is watching someone do it, particularly in a competition that's all down to which team is best at dodging drug tests :john:

The sport is rife with doping, zero integrity yet you still love it?

What's your stance on match fixing again? :john: ;-)

No it's not actually, it's cleaner that ever and looking back at the history, so what if there was doping if everyone was doing it? It was still great competition over a pretty much level playing field. At least dopers are cheating to win whereas match fixers are cheating to lose which is entirely different. Cynics just don't get the beauty and fascination of the event, the tactics and the balls of the riders.

Anyway, back to ET2 in Rotterdam....

Ben is going to be on tv playing Matthew Stevens at 10:30am. I've got the Sky+ set. Come on Ben!

Last time they met it was a great match, should've been 3-2 up as you can see from the picture when blown up to full size (you can see the table layout and the scoreboard) but alas Stevens won that one 4-2. They practice together occasionally, Stevens gets the better of Ben but that doesn't mean Ben can't win.

Ben has forced the decider against Stevens. Shame everyone is at work or enjoying the sun! Loads of Snooker Island logo on tv apparently. I can't see it myself, will have to watch later.
