Selby should make the quarters at least, neck permitting.

After what happened in the worlds I don't think he'd enter until his neck was better. Plus I heard he's been in China for some promotional work, so he should be okay now.

Hopefully Selby will win some rankers this season to justify his standing in the game. He should be at my second favs Robbos count already. He has blown so many tourneys at latter stages!

Perhaps his relationship with Mukesh (?) is a little too close for Vickys comfort!

Assuming seed wins, there are some decent second round matches in prospect.
I hope Selby vs Gould comes off. Robertson vs Ding would be a good 'un. Mark Williams vs Mark Allen will be interesting on the table, as will the press conference afterwards.
Of course, all this is without knowing who has qualified.

Oh hang on, Dale gets Trump AGAIN!? What is this madness.
He only ever gets Trump and Ronnie, very unlucky.

Don't worry. This time last year Trump lost to Mavis and Bingham. I don't think he'll be bringing his A-game with him until UK.

you think
before UK This year there's 4 main rankers and 11 PTC that's a potential 50,000 ranking points on offer before they reach york.

Really? Anyway, the point still stands, he won't have his A-game for Wuxi.

Yeah I did think that, Dale does have an alright chance there in honesty.

Mark Davis vs Ding seems to crop up in every other tournament its unreal! Getting bored of these familiar clashes.
Ebdon Bingham and Ford Williams I have seen before also.

Martin Gould vs Jamie Cope could be a
match. Also, I wouldn't mind a bit of Shaun Murphy vs Ken Doherty, should Ken-Do get past the Wild Card. (Which, of course, isn't a given with Ken-Do.)
I hope Judd vs Dale is as tasty as their match at the UK Championship too. Without Dale gettting skanked again, of course.

Sorry, mistyped.
I really should learn to proof read.
Believe it or not, I'd had to check whether it was 2007 or 2008 he won Shanghai, and I still typed wrong.
