Thought I'd add the qualifiers for this, although the 3 West Midlands qualifiers are unknown to me as no results posted from the matches played 19th February.
A few notable early losses - In Round 2 Sam Harvey lost 4 - 2 to Syd Wilson, Joel Walker lost 4 - 2 to Oliver Lines, Shaun Wilkes lost 4 - 1 to Kevin Robinson, Chris Norbury lost 4 - 2 to Robbie Williams, and Ryan Causton lost 4 - 2 to Mark Leonard
Alex Dunkley went out in Round 1 to Leo Fernandez, who then lost 4 - 3 to Stuart Wood in Round 2. Likewise, Ian Burns lost in Round 1 to John Whitty, who then lost 4 - 3 to Craig Steadman in Round 2. And Shane Castle went down 4 -1 to Wayne Townsend in Round 1, with Townsend then losing 4 - 3 to Matthew Ford.
