Question

Postby Rout

Hello!

Can someone help me out?

The current Q-school is £1000 to enter, and £100 per event thereafter upon achieving a tour card. Can anyone advise what the equivalent costs were under the old system that involved PIOS etc? Ie how much could/would a budding player expect to spend trying to qualify for the main tour etc . . . . .?

Thanks

As far as I'm aware PIOS cost £900 for the eight events, not sure where I heard that from though. PIOS remember ran throughout the season - eight tournaments with a promotion of the top eight players over the course of the season. QSchool costs £1,000

Not sure what the entry fees for the individual tournaments are but I'd not advise that they're cheap. I think any PTC costs £100 so thats £1200 to enter them all.
