Remember last year when someone did the card thing? Where you predict each match by turning over a card for each player playing the match, the highest number wins the frame and so on until you get a winner?
Anyway me and jade done it, heres how it went:
First roundHiggins 9-10 Wenbo
Bingham 10-6 Hendry
Dott 10-5 Perry
Maguire 6-10 Brecel
Murphy 10-7 Jones
Lee 5-10 Higginson
Carter 8-10 Davis
Trump 10-9 Dale
Williams 8-10 Chuang
Ronnie 10-7 Ebdon
Gould 5-10 Gilbert
Neil Robertson 8-10 Doherty
Ding 10-3 Day
Allen 10-9 Yupeng
Stevens 5-10 Fu
Selby 10-8 Hawkins
Second roundWenbo 13-5 Bingham
Dott 13-8 Brecel
Murphy 12-13 Higginson
Davis 3-13 Trump
Williams 10-13 Ronnie
Gilbert 13-12 Doherty
Ding 13-9 Allen
Fu 13-10 Selby
Quarter finalsWenbo 9-13 Dott
Higginson 12-13 Trump
Ronnie 13-7 Gilbert
Ding 13-11 Fu
Semi finalsDott 17-14 Trump
Ronnie 17-5 Ding
FinalRonnie 18 - 13 Dott
So after all that Ronnie won! Amazing, really interesting seeing how it pans out when you have a little sister do it for you
Try it! Would like to see who you all get as the winner.

I got bored halfway through the first round last year.
At least Graeme Dott is going to make it more respectable than when he played Ronnie previously in a Crucible final.

Its brilliant! And also funny to see that every semi and final and winner is very realistic really!
Theres also some very likely scorelines, like 10-4 ding over day and 10-9 fu over stevens

I'm not at home for a couple of nights. (Only with family, nothing interesting sadly.) But before The Crucible starts, I'll get a pack of cards and join in.

is this thing supposed to be complete chance cos wild has the exact same r1 predictions in the both this and the contest (and the two finalists). more likely people are picking who they think will win.

Hmm not sure, there would be no point cheating! Its just a little fun
I spread the cards everywhere face down and picked two up randomly, the left one would be the qualifier and right the seed. The higher the number card, would win that frame!

You realise this isn't a prediction game, it's randomly picking stuff with a pack of cards?

That's why I gave up last year. I got half-way through the first rounds, and thought; "Oh buck this."
