As this has got a new thread, who does everybody want to get through? I'm hoping for Doherty, Dale and Brecel to enter the fray. And Hendry. :bowdown:

EDIT: Saying that, I forgot Dale was playing Ben. I wouldn't mind either of them going through.

From what i've seen im going for.

Doherty, Dale, Walden, Milkins, Day, Hendry, Ford, Fu, Brecel, Wenbo, O'Brien, Chuang, Hawkins, Higginson, Ebdon, Perry all to qualify.

However, Hamilton might beat Doherty, Woollaston might beat Dale, Davis may beat Milkins, King will probably beat Brecel, Campbell might beat Wenbo, Gilbert could beat O'Brien, Burnett may beat Perry.

Think Walden, Day, Hendry, Ford, Fu, Chuang, Hawkins and Ebdon are the only definite's for me at the minute.

All other matches in my opinion could go either way.

Actually just thinking: Three of the four seventeen year olds to have qualfied for the Crucible have gone on to do great things, and Luca has been hyped for so long. Anyone see Chuang doing some damage this year or in the forseeable future? The way he closed out yesterday's match was pretty impressive.

ive never been to the EISS,until this year never seen Matches From the EISS but the Final Round of Qualifying has been Right up there with my highlight of the season for as long as i can Remember.

1989 Alex Higgins Fresh from his Irish Masters victory against Stephen Hendry the very next day was playing in the Final Round of Qualifiers for the World Championship and Ceefax was red hot in my house being a massive Alex Higgins fan wanting him to get there unfortunally Darren Morgan Beat him 10-8.

so the excitement surounding who will get to the Crucible has always been there long before Liveworldsnooker.TV or Live Scoring.

Cao Yupeng and Ben Woollaston are in with a real shout and I wouldn't put it past Luca to beat King.

I want these to qualify:

Joe Jogia (top bloke, and a superb attacking player - been around for a long time - he would so love to play at the Crucible)
Luca Brecel (not seen him until this week, and to be honest I am mightily impressed, not flustured, lovely cue action and manner)
Dave Gilbert (I like the way he plays, nice pace, nice punchy shots)
Davy Morris (nice guy, not hit the heights, but doing it well this week)
<ok>

They all have tough matches so no chickens being counted, tbh its a toss up between Jogs and Brecel who I would most like to qualify, cant split them. <ok>
