Apologies, a bit of overlap of timing there, as you can see, top 2 from each group, 'though with some results missing (half of Group H!) it was difficult to work out who was going through ... not sure why an incompleesult above either ... ran out of time ?

Thanks. :hatoff: Any idea if the runner up gets the tour place if Hossein Vafaei Ayouri wins?

Funnily enough been thinking about that one myself, presumably down to World Snooker but they didn't take Vincent Muldoon in similar circumstances last year. just took one less player. And would you take the runner-up from this or the runner-up from the IBSF World Championship ? That would be Lee Walker from Wales ... only lost by 1 frame.

Possibility here of an all-Iranian final, wouldn't have suspected Iran as the next 'up and coming' country in snooker ...

Last 16 results now complete:

Zhang Anda (China) 4 - 2 Akani Songsermsawad (Thailand)

During their matches, China's Lu Ning and Hossein Vafael Ayouri had 106 and 112 breaks respectively

so in the quarter finals (which will be best of 9 frames), 3 from China, 3 from Iran, 1 from Thailand, 1 from India

Mohammad Lababi (Iran) v Zhou Yuelong (China)
Zhang Anda (China) v Lu Ning (China)
Hossein Vafaei Ayouri (Iran) v Amir Sarkhosh (Iran)
Laxman Rawat (India) v Noppon Saengkham (Thailand)

And I missed the obvious explanation for that - Alatyani Abdulla of Saudi Arabia wasn't there so only 3 in the group, so only 3 matches ...
