Oceania Under 21s Championship

Postby roy142857

Just nine entries for this, 8 Aussies plus one from Papua New Guinea. Two days round robin then final on Tuesday (not sure if there's semi-finals too).

After the first day of the round robin, Shaun Dalitz is the only undefeated player, only dropping 3 frames in his 5 best of 5 matches. Charlie Chafe and Kurt Dunham are both on 4 wins with 1 loss, Chafe is ahead on frame difference but his loss was to Dunham, who has already played Dalitz.

Quarter finals too apparently, so only Emmanuel Kapi of Papua New Guinea eliminated!

Results:

Kurt Dunham 4 - 0 Viet Thai
Cale Barrett 4 - 1 Ryan Thomerson
Shaun Dalitz 4 - 1 Jessica Woods
Charlie Chafe 4 - 2 Keenan Cigler

Kurt Dunham 5 - 4 Cale Barrett
Shaun Dalitz 5 - 3 Charlie Chafe

Kurt Dunham 6 - 4 Shaun Dalitz

So congratulations to 2012 Oceania Under 21 Snooker Champion Kurt Dunham, who also had the highest break of the tournament with a 91.
