Ronnie better off being 15th seed as the bottom half is far weaker than the top.
Would fancy him to progress past qualifier, Wiggy, Mags then hippo en route to the final

I think Gouldy would rather face anyone but robbo
Scars will return

I would have preferred someone harder for Robbo. That way when he wins the worlds again this year, no one can say he had an easy draw.

Qualifier
Gould
Williams
Ronnie or Selby
Higgins or Trump
Tough draw
And you will learn on here there is always some sad excuse that comes from the anti robbo brigade when he wins an tournament

How come there is so much anti-Robbo sentiment here? Higgins I can understand, some people chose to believe a dodgy newspaper. But why Neil?

Trump is a cert to get to the SF's as that draw stands. A win for Allen tomorrow will put him in the top half rather than the bottom. I would rather he stays were he is.

Why? Don't think Murphy can beat him? To be honest I have feeling that after such a good season, Trump is going to fall earlier than expected in the Crucible.

I agree. Has Gould ever replicated that form from those two sessions again. How he even in the top 16, I don't remember ever getting to the quarters in a tournament ever.

so bingham is guaranteed sixteen place that is good as an inferior player like mark davis could have potentially faced higgins in the second round
the way selby is playing at the moment there is no guarantee he will even reach the second round especially if he get a tricky draw

Can't see any qualifier being a threat to Selby over 19 frames. As for Higgins, if you're hoping for Bingham to beat him, you'll be sorely disappointed. Looking at the provisional draw, the only remote threat in his quarter is Ding.

Dott has beaten higgins in the worlds before so he could do it.

Not good. We'll just have to see what happens though, whatever will be will be. Selby can only get better.

Bingham: forget about it.
But maybe Ryan Day or Steve Davis are around?

Marco Fu could be a big danger if he qualifies
