Ding does not have the temperament and will never win a tournament held over 17 days. Not the mental strength.
Runner up one day maybe.

haha i must admit i think Wiggy could be set for a slump
he must be starting to lack belief now after the number of times he fails to perform when it comes to the crunch
and realistically hes running out of time to win the Worlds, its starting to become a monkey on his back

Dings good enough to outgun the opposition and win the WC easy enough
i still maintain he will win more than 1 WC, hes a top drawer player with his peak years ahead of him

I've heard a couple of people mention Ding hasn't got the mental strength to win the Worlds. It's utter nonsense.

To me Higgins isn't a main contender.
Why? Because I learn from the past.

Of course will Ding win a WC. And also rather sooner than later. The great 3 of '92 are heading for their career end and there aren't any threats younger than him besides Trump. Also, Ding has won a major for the last two seasons now, maybe he will add another this season.

as long as higgins doesnt win it im happy otherwise someone will need shooting
i agree though that he the main favourite along with judd and robertson even though we a few months away and a lot will depend on the draw
it not unrealistic to think we could have a higgins v ronnie first round match but im not sure when the next ranking cut off is if they do have one before the world championship i could be wrong though

Higgins will only be favourite on paper. He has a awful record defending a title at the Crucible - he will lose at the last 16. I have seen it all before.
But you're spot on that the draw is massive. I don't want to read again this year: "Ronnie is in the quarter of death"

Additionally Higgins record of defending the World title isn't that different to Williams or Ronnie. He reached the SF in 99 and twice has lost to the eventual winner whilst defending the title.

Have you ever asked Munstermann if he's aware that over here there are crisps called Monster Munch, and if he's ever tried them?
I'd love to know Munstermann's opinion on Monster Munch.

I don't know where you get your facts, but you better get them straight:
WC 2008: lost to RYAN DAY in the Last 16
WC 2010: lost to STEVE DAVIS in the Last 16

Your right, my bad - for some reason I thought the year he lost to Murphy was the year he was defending.
The year he lost to Davis, well that one can never be explained right - no idea what was going on there.
