Seems a little steep IMO
I can get a nice Burroughs and Watts full size table for under $2000 CAN.
Of course the UK doesn't have the majority of their halls taking snooker tables out and putting in 4x8 bar box 8/9-ball tables like we do.
On the plus side it does make for a lot of cheap second hand tables....shame I don't have any room for one
$ has never been the big problem, finding space is usually the show-stopper
