Why are they still bothering with this irrelevant junk?
Is there anything less significant on the sporting calendar?

i agree totally pointless excercise.
it was only invented because Rodney Walker regime failed to negotiate a contract with perform to stream the World Qualifiers.

I would rather watch a challenge match. For example Hendry playing Steve Davis for £5 million. It would need to be their own money though. It would be funny to see one them lose all that money over a best of 5 frame match!

yeah it served it purpose few years back with match practice and filled in some non snooker spots but id rather see some of it spot filled in with a Ranking Event and other spots spread the PTC

No idea. I was going to ask the same thing, except I was going to ask if it's on free-streaming somewhere? Sportlemon?
This tournament is pretty pointless, and is barely worth going through any trouble or payment to see. But I might dip into it if I can see the odd match on the internet for nothing.

Yes, I think we all would.
I'd say that was probably more likely than Steve Davis vs Stephen Hendry betting £5million pounds on a best of five, and also getting it shown on television.

yes pointless really paying for this thing alone but £29.99 for a year subscription of Liveworldsnooker.tv its worth every penny with the volume of snooker it will be showing.
for the chmpionship league alone £29.99 will be worth about 29p a session

I'm not a Championship League hatah particularly. I'm more of a tight bastard. Haven't invested in World Snooker TV, though I should. You get a hell of a lot of snooker going on there. I expect you get your money's worth out of it Mr. Wild.
Onto The CL, it isn't as prestigious as other tournaments, or anything. And I wouldn't go through masses amount of trouble to watch it, if I'm honest. But if I had the stream I'd probably dip in and out. For a laugh, if nothing else.

not complaigning about the snooker but the whole concept is a load of rubbish and the time in the callender could be better used with better event even sheffield PTC would be better in february/march than in june in a building without air con.

I love this tournament because Dale is playing and its also nice to have a casual bit of snooker to watch at my desk while doing coursework and drinking tea
munching on celebrations.

Looks like Selby vs Davis is going to be an important one. Or as important as it gets in the CL.
