I think for Robbo' sake he has to beat Trump this time. Judd is about 8 years younger and Robbo is at his peak. If Trump beats him again Robbo might just not be good enough to beat him in a major.

William Hill have this about right. They make Trump the 8/11 favourite. After seeing the way Trump played today, no one (except the completely delusional) would really bet against him.

I don't recall saying Dott would win. But yes, I was pretty sure Ding would defeat the over-rated one.

Well, to be fair, O'Sullivan was the only player capable of beating Trump in the form he is in right now.
Robertson is a different kettle of fish.

As much as I want Allen to win, I can't help but feel that we need a Robbo vs Allen final as Allen virtually always hammers Trump, and it would make for a one sided final if Trump and Allen meet, so here's hoping for a Robbo win against the rag doll.

The Barbican was made for snooker.....
look at things Barry has done German Masters,Taking Snooker to Australia and Brazil, Superb Crowds in Euro PTC, taking the Masters to Ally Pally and Taking the UK Back to the Barbican..
none of that has taken the SPORT away from Tredition yes deducting the UK which ill never agree with but in the grand scheme of things thats very small in comparison of what hes done.

Yep thats how i saw it as well. He did seem to go for it but also left the white so that he was in a position to pot a baulk colour. I personally think that it was a very clever shot and not a fluke.
