I'm going to go for a least one full day this year, the move to Alexandra Palace  removes the risk of missing the last train home if the evening match goes the distance...
I'm thinking saturday :excite:
So I'll probably go to Matthew's  first round match too.

It's slightly less convenient for me to get to Ally Pally as it was to Wembly. :grrr: My quiet indignation knows no bounds.

Is it possible to predict the draw now we know the top 16?
Does it follow the formula defending champ seeded 1 followed by no1 ranked, no2 ranked etc...
and then 1 vs 16, 2 vs 15 etc ?

Re: Roll Call

i dunno why they dont just do 1 v 16 etc

whats the point of having rankings / seedings

if your 1st you deserve to have the advantage of playing the so called worst seed

Well Snookerfan it looks like we're okay Matthew wont be playing Ronnie :phew:
I'm hoping for Selby or Trump as I haven't seen either of them live yet.

i agree with everything Barry Hearn said there let players earn their place at the masters not be handed it by who you are or reputation.

and ill be keeping that article for the future because if he goes back on that because Ronnie wont be at a London Masters sometime in the future ill be reminding him what a 2 face hammer he is :-)

Sorry if it's elsewhere but someone on the darts site noticed this.

Hendry wont be qualifying for the Masters it seems, here are the "provisional" rankings for the Masters cut-off:

1. 1 Mark Selby England 63 385
2. 2 Mark J Williams Wales 60 500
3. 3 John Higgins Scotland 51 140
4. 4 Neil Robertson Australia 49 060
5. 6 Shaun Murphy England 47 445
6. 8 Judd Trump England 44 225
7. 5 Ding Junhui China 43 420
8. 7 Allister Carter England 42 760
9. 10 Graeme Dott Scotland 42 165
10. 9 Stephen Maguire Scotland 40 860
11. 12 Mark Allen Northern Ireland 38 505
12. 11 Stuart Bingham England 37 915
13. 16 Martin Gould England 36 490
14. 13 Stephen Lee England 35 710
15. 15 Matthew Stevens Wales 35 575
16. 17 Mark Davis England 35 020

------------------
17. 14 Ronnie O'Sullivan England 33 540
18. 18 Jamie Cope England 32 860
19. 20 Andrew Higginson England 32 750
20. 23 Barry Hawkins England 31 760
21. 24 Marcus Campbell Scotland 31 560
21. 19 Peter Ebdon England 31 560
23. 21 Stephen Hendry Scotland 31 220

Add 6 Tour events and the UK and the Top 16 will get in - no wildcards this year. Hendry will have to win the UK to stand a chance, or at least make the final and do well on the "floor".

Interesting to note Ronnie O'Sullivans position. A first round exit at the Uk could feasibly see him OUT of the Top 16 and out of the Masters i think!

No Ronnie? Unthinkable.

nah mate thats wrong, that list is the current provisional list at the start of this new cut off

Ronnie was 13th at the end of the last cut off when the Masters top 16 were decided, Mark Davis in 17th was the man who missed out

Phew. Love the masters and it'd be sad to see him not there.

I'm going to give someone a bollocking.

Each session is up £5 from last year.

Doesn't sound like much but if your going to 3 or 4 days is adds up
