A new year and a new format for the longest running shot-clock event in the sport. This year there are 10 players competing in an overall group-stage, with, once again, 4 semi-finalists going through to the finals weekend in Norfolk in November. Each week there will be 2 semi-finals and a final. Week Four sees Defending Premier League Champion Ronnie O'Sullivan take on Championship League Winner Matthew Stevens. And in the other semi-final, Masters champion Ding Junhui take on League Debutant Ali Carter, with the two winners facing each other in the final.

The 10 competing players are:

Allister Carter
Ding Junhui
John Higgins
Shaun Murphy
Ronnie O'Sullivan
Neil Robertson
Matthew Stevens
Judd Trump
Jimmy White
Mark Williams
______________________
Week Four: Thursday 29 September (19:30 BST)

Ronnie O'Sullivan 3-0 Matthew Stevens
Ding Junhui 0-3 Ali Carter

Final: Ronnie O'Sullivan 3-1 Ali Carter.

wasnt the best but its only 1 frame worse off than if hed won semi-f 3-0 then lost final 3-0

12 points will be the amount needed to get in top 4 so an average of 3 pts per night so he just needs to up it a bit and i expect him to dispose of Stevens easily tonight and win the final too.
