I never thought I would take any interest in snooker this time of year, but the weather is so awful that it seems like it is already October.
I wonder when the hosepipe ban will come into operation?

Well I think the quarter final line up is good. Williams, Murphy and Selby, those guys are so consistent; newby Selt, good to see a new face, and an old one in Ken who had a great win to add to the Maguire victory, plus a tasty grudge match, every sport needs them and Mr Dale, the Pantomime villain who put paid deservedly to the local favourite.
Wish I had access. my picks are Bingham, Murphy, Williams and Ken!

i dont based it on who is playing i think its a great quarter line up full of contrasts experience of ken the unexperience of selt. the best 2 players in the world and for good measure a grudge match not to mention snookerfans dream of having Selt play Selby could be in the final.
only thing missing is Robbo but you cant have everything.

Anyway the way the rankings work at the minute Bingham was in fact WN 15 Entering this event and with that win he will be at least 13th when the rankings is revised after this event but he still has to qualify for shanghai lol
