Hi
Under 21s World Snooker in Montreal Canada ( Should be Live Scores with Canada Snooker ) (will post link Later if required )

Nick Jennings ***********
Mitchell Travis ***********
Sam Harvey ( Possible )
Callum Downing ***********
Three of the above players are to represent England in Canada in the World under 21s Snooker on the 12th July to the 23th July 2011.
They are expected to pay there own Air fares, Hotel Bills and any other expenses.
Why is there no support for these players. And why does Joe Snooker out there Know nothing about it.
Please pass this on.
The advent Venue in Canada is The Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel.
I look forward to your reply.
T.T.

As in football and most other sports if you want the e best you must inport them and support them.
The Sheffield Star Acadamy is full of Chinese Players. All living in Sheffield, almost 24 7.
( say goodby to Snooker in Sheffield. ) Within a short time The World Championship will be held in China.

The only way to turn this arround is to do what they do start support at a early age.
I have been told that Snooker in China is taught at Schools.

Yes, does seem a bit crazy. Although I'm not sure the place is guaranteed - I think the IBSF have to nominate the winner.

about as crazy as me spotting that if you reverse your avatar numbers you have the total number of posts you have made on here to date.

and also is you take the first and last number after your log in name and swap them around, you also have the total number of posts you have made on here to date.......

Re: World under 21s Snooker

Postby Wildey

Sam Craigie won it last year and hes on tour at the moment as World no 80 it does seem strange that they have to wait a long time but they should use that time to get used to it and get plenty of PTC Action under their Belt.

:D

Hey I rather like that ... but then, really like numbers, as you might guess from the login name (1/7 = .142857 recurring, 2/7 = .285714 recurring, 3/7 = .428571 recurring, 4/7 = .571428 recurring, 5/7 = .714285 recurring, 6/7 = 857142 recurring - in case anyone doesn't know and even cares!) - remember learning to say one four two, eight five seven, I will be in sevenths heaven ... my Junior School headmaster was a mathematician ...

The schedule lists an optional day for last 32, then last 16 - anyone know if they are going with last 32 or straight to last 16?

(To be honest, looking at the size of field (3 groups of 8, 3 groups of 9) I'd go with 6 group winners to last 16, and let 2nd 3rd 4th in each group plus best 2 5th placers play-off for the remaining 10 places - but I doubt if that's what they'll do!)

And does anyone know about the live streaming? Is it just the final?
