Monday 18th~Sunday 24th of July at the Bendigo Stadium.

it seems like only yesterday when John Higgins captured his 4th World Title and here we go again a new season,a new tournament and a brand new Country.

Building on the Success of Neil Robertson and the vision of Barry Hearn the World Snooker Tour has reached Australia.

There was Major Snooker intrest in Australia during the 70s and 80s with Eddie Charlton the Focus and The World Snooker Championship was played in Melbourne in 1975 won by Ray Reardon and Invitational Tournaments Followed during the 1980s but now after 25 years Snooker is Back down under.

Can Australia's Neil Robertson win on Home Soil, can Judd Trump continue on his Quest for More Titles or will Ronnie continue a Resurgence ??

Just scanned over Judd's draw for the first time and, well it's only now it hits you just how much strength there is at the top of the game at the minute, there really is no easy match from the last 16 for anybody and even beating Selby there means naff all since there's tougher tests ahead.

Bourne wrote:Yes agreed but over this distance Judd could easily win the match in quick time 5-1 or 5-2 no probs so that's a tricky one to predict.

could be 5-0 or 5-1 either way agree

theres no benchmark to judge Trump on hes just not played since sheffield.

will he turn up on time ?

and if he does will he be too busy coughing and yawning?

An hour before the match he gets a call from Ganley "where are you Neil ?" "i'm here Mike, been here for the last week but can't find the venue ... you did say Austria right ?" :chuckle:

Id have made Gould favourite until his admission last week hes suffering from depression <doh>

depends how hendry plays TBH.....

Depression or not if hendry misses the pots he has been missing Gould will beat him.
