Seriously?
If that's the case it's a worthless event (from a ranking standpoint) designed to make players chase the max instead of the win.
That's not professional snooker it's an exhibition.
Oh well, if they want to do this for exhibitions it'll draw some viewers so a plus from that side even if it's not a serious event.

players that don't reach the final or get a max will be out of pocket seriously with this event but go there they are.
the 12,000 for the max would be better spent either add to the price pot or pay appearance fee for the players that went there.
im totally against throwing money on one frame of snooker in events like this.

"events like this"
dont u mean all events?
or were you on the opposite side of the fence to Monique on the 147 prize v a fund for the young players instead
£4,000 for the winner in an event like this is a total joke though

Why play boring to win when you can lose in an entertaining manner
if you happen to win its a bonus

MSI Ricky 4-0 Sangnil.
Ricky playing well but no pressure. Sangnil safety is inexistent.

They should have more events in South Korea then because that's the internet capital of the world. They love it so much down there they let real kids starve to death in order not to let their cyber kids starve.

the way they have broken off in this match you get the feeling they trying to set up a 147 for their opponent and share the cash.

That's 4-0 for Stephen Lee against Tom Ford. The way he plays you wonder how it comes that he didn't qualify for Australia.

yes you took the words right out of my mouth...
but you can only play as well as your opponent lets you and obviously Barry Pinches dug his heels in.

Indeed, and they all have bad days in office. I wasn't suggesting any foul play. It's just that Ben had told us how well he played in practice and I was surprised he lost.
