Had an enjoyable tournament so far (went two sessions of Wednesday and Friday afternoon) and so I've had the camera with me.
The shots so far are here:

Interesting to see the shot with the televisions up there. (Especially as it looks like Joe Perry is playing Joe Perry.)
Does that help or hinder?

It could be like one of those Mirror Matches they had on Mortal Kombat.

To be honest, I'd rather not have them there. The scoreboards on the screens, no problem, but I've seen too many people glancing up at them instead of concentrating on the table.

I feel like I'm going late to a party, being that I arrive in Sheffield for the first time, midday Saturday.

So you keep saying. It's the same thing to me.
Saying that, now I'm a responsible homeowner, I'll be back to going to cheaper first round weekends next year.
I take it you've never made it to the start of a 10am session, Witz.

I've now completed the set with some shots from the last quarter final session and both first of the semis. You can even see how quick the tables get dismantled!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/zawtowers/ ... 419511487/Enjoy, and have a great time watching the final two sessions today.
