Yes nice ceremony and good to see Maguire's reaction even though he must have been cheesed off with losing.

if it was any other game / player involved yous would all have been on here shouting it was a foul but oh no cos it was the untouchable Higgins, he benefits from positive discrimination and is immune from any criticism.

It wasn't even close to being a foul. Sure he hit it too thin.

2010 didn't start well for John, he lost out on a few hundred thousand he had counted on as well as paid a fine...
I'd say he's done great to recover as he has.

Then you're blind too GJ because I'm telling you it was clearly green. If he'd hit the blue first it would've taken a different path.

He hit the green to thin pushing it into the blue and sending it in the opposite direction.
Why would Higgins have lied anyway? The green was over the hole for Maguire.

i decided to take time out tonight from the computer not through choice though The thing froze just before the match started and could not be bothered re starting it.
Well played John Higgins but you cant help think Maguire had a phobia regarding the no 50.
reaching consistant 40 point lead in frames and throwing them away but im really pleased for John and the whole Family
you just had the feeling all week someone was looking over him.
Maguire though let me down
BADLY Regarding Predictions and i never forget hope you get stuffed in every match you play again this season
Well Fluked Alex OPaul on winning this week but its a bitter pill to swallow finishing in bloody 4th after a useless crappy player let me down

the green doesnt look like it goes on your replay Sonny
plus he can see the full green whereas my memory (and GJs too im sure) was of a thin edge of the green sticking out behind the blue.
