Rule Query

Postby Roland

If a player pots two colours in the same shot, say yellow and pink, and when it comes to respotting them their own spots are covered, how are they spotted?

Two scenarios:

1) black and blue spots available
2) only one spot available but not pink or yellow

I would guess the answer is the highest colour gets spotting preference. I don't know the rule but if it was lower colour getting preference then it would make less sense. So in scenario 1 the pink would spot on the black spot and the yellow on the blue, and in scenario 2 the pink would go on the spot and the yellow would go as close to it's own spot in line etc etc

I'd say highest spot available & then th other ball nearest its own spot.

yes the higher valued ball is being given priority

1) pink on black spot and yellow on blue spot

2) pink on available spot and yellow near it own spot.
