Re: Rankings thread

Postby Bourne

Didn't do any formatting mate. Here's an example of one line :

9 Neil Robertson (AUS) 33,825 Up 3

You can do it in your own style

I love keeping an eye on the rankings.

I like the povisional provisional ranks, which it would be like if we had a rolling system

Re: Rankings thread

Postby Roland

What are the povisional provisional ranks?

Hmmm, looks like all 6 Chinese players other than Ding and Liang are in the drop zone. I hope for their sakes that they are not sacrificing ranking points to get a wildcard into the China Open.

Re: Rankings thread

Postby Roland

Wow, the very provisional ranks have Ding at number 1 and Liang at number 4!

based on this season only, so that's what a rolling system would be like. its very fun to keep your eye on

Re: Rankings thread

Carter has to win the title this week to move up to 3rd in the provisional rankings reaching the final would mean he is 5 points behind robbo.

This is contrary to incorrect info posted elsewhere

If John Higgins loses tomorrow he only has to match Ronnie’s performance at the China Open to be World number 1. if he wins tomorrow then he can surrender a round (possibly 2, depending) to Ronnie at the china and still be number 1.

he has a sponsorship with Kleenex, so it is okay

Re: Rankings thread

Postby Rocket_ron

GJ, if carter wins tomorrow he will leap frog robbo into 3rd on the provisional ranks  .

3. Neil Robertson (AUS) 38,125 UP 6
4. Ali Carter (ENG) 38,120 UP 1
Add 1000 points on to Carter (the difference between runnerup and winner) carter will be on 39,120 however if he's runner up then he will stay on 38,120
