64, i just tried to start off working my way down the current ranking list then players from the past.
mind froze a couple of times while i racked my brain, couple of the ones i didnt get i cant even remember the names pretty much so had no chance of the, couple of fairly obvious ones i missed though doh!!
theres tons of different snooker games and quizzes on that site to try.

I froze for 2 minutes trying to think of Barry Hawkins surname
I also couldn't spell Quentin Hann or Kristjen Helgason even though I was trying to type their names in.
Most obvious ones I missed were Paul Hunter and Jamie Cope
With more thinking time I would've got another 8 at least. So that elevates me to 67

And I wouldn't have got the last 4 with more time
..and looking at the most recent list, all those who have entered since the quiz was set up were names I typed in that didn't count

World Snooker winners and their years are up there with the multiplication times tables, Xmas number ones and James Bond films / years / actors that i can just rattle off the top of my head without any thought.

who the hell is Troy Shaw? And when did Joe Swail ever win a ranker?
Still, I missed a couple of obvious ones but I got a lot of good ones.

You were the only person I beat.
47... At least I didn't miss anybody too obvious, and I am glad I forgot about Quinten Hann because they didn't spell it properly, and that would've annoyed me.
I got Zang Andha though.

Apparently.
I was quite surprised Patrick Wallace played. I only heard of him for the first time last month.

I got most of them in under a minute, and then couldn't remember John Spencer's name.
I had 55 seconds left and it came to me.

Helgason lost 10-3 or something to Lee
Had a smashing run as well did Wallace - 10-2 in the first round, 13-5 in the second round and 7-2 up in the quarters before losing 13-11
