I remember him bottling a QF 13-12 against Ronnie from about 10-6 in front when they were both quite young.
yes 1996. Higgins bottled that one. But as you say both were young and not in their prime back then.

Watching that really made Luca's performance seem even more incredible - it was like he was playing with ping pong balls, they just effortlessly moved around. They seemed more like millstones for John and Xiao.

Si misses the red on 35. Green and brown are the problem balls for Ben.

Did Cobra Kai ever incorporate the Crane Kick into their arsenal, or did that always remain just a Miyagi-Do thing...?
Miguel Dias did use it once.

Seems like it would be worth learning, since when done right, no can defend

John Parrott saying they don't play at 10am in any other tournaments. Errrm there are for the Home nation events, British Open and German Masters.

I just asked myself why I’ve still got commentary on. So I turned it off.

That draw now is looking a bit of a joke. One half will have quarter finals with four world champions playing each other, the other half has Ronnie against either a one-time semi-finalist or a Crucible novice.
He will waltz to the final without even being tested.

Still can't believe how good Luca was today. Crazy how easy he made the game seem.

Yet their's isn't even one of the last matches to finish. Part of the curiosity of the World Championship.

No one left in Ronnie's side of the draw will trouble him. He's already in the final.

Ben is the better player tactically but he just can't score. Si on the other hand would win this comfortably if he started scoring like he normally does but which he hasn't been doing so far.

I feel sick. Plays like Stephen Hawking for two years. Then, just in time for Ding, 'BOOOM, TURNS OUT I AM THE GREATEST SNOOKER PLAYER OF ALL bucking TIME AFTER ALL'
Now you know how I felt in the 2023 final loss. Not fun is it? Get a taste of your own medicine now.
Luca is a disgrace to snooker. I hate these type of players to the core who have a freak run.
