Can't lie those odds are probably still justified, he's looking good.
From what I can gather from years of watching snooker on their site, they very likely don't have any human input in deciding odds, I think those days are gone.
I would speculate that they just use an AI database that gets fed stats and information.
initial odds would be based largely on statistical models yes. but once open it will be driven by the market participants based on all available information. bookies just act as market makers, and set odds to guarantee profit whatever the outcome, essentially taking a commission from all the bets placed across the market. if the money is backing zhao then his odds will shorten until an equilibrium is met, a bookie not responding to those market signals will not be a bookie for long.
Yes, and all those adjustments are likely done by the computers now.
yeah. and a significant amount of the bets being placed will be done by bots too.

Sunny did well to get back into that fifth frame needing 3 snookers. Lost it in a re spotted black which he had a few chances to win it.
4-1 is not looking good.
Sunny and Xintong are the only players from Q1 to make it to judgement day this year. Im really hoping Sunny makes it but it’s not looking good right now. He’s just been unlucky.
Xintong has smashed through Q-School this season and tbh it’s not shock he has go this far from Q1 he is too good.

Going to have a tenner on it?
I was going to lay a bet down but those odds are well stingy, he's not even qualified yet and he's right up there between Murphy and Hawkins

What a joke.
Yeah, he’d have to be 50/1 (which I think would arguably still be a bit stingy) for a tenner to even approach a value bet.

Slessor gets the 1st red, but misses the brown, inciting a good rap of his cue upon the table.

That frame was massive for Slessor. 7-2 down I think Xintong would just win easily, but 6-3 I think there's still quite a lot in this match yet. Having said that, Xintong just blitzing 4 quick frames would be the least surprising lol

The score doesn't reflect the match for sure. Let's hope Xintong will do some errors and Slessor capitalize on them.

Martin O'Donnell did well to get 2 Frames to trail 7-2
He was 6-0 down having scored just 15 points

Damn it these players are like little girls always complaining of something. I didn't think Tom Ford was like that.
