This tournament should have been played in like August or September. It's too much of an inconvenience having this right before the Tour championship! Whoever thought it was a good idea to schedule this tournament at the end of March is an idiot!

It was just prior to the British Open last season, weren't it?

Who does it inconvenience? It's played in the same arena as the TC.

Inconvenience for Judd. He should be pulling out of this.

What's the big deal? He gets there a few days early.
He's not the only player in both.

Paid practice, effectively. If it was an inconvenience, he’d pull out, Shirley?

Judd has yet to really follow Ronnie's advice to "pick and choose", other than Judd pulling out of the Welsh Open.
On a somewhat-related note, if I'm not mistaken, Judd is now the first player to win 5 ranking events in a season at least 3 different times.

It’s basically an exhibition, if it ruins his TC campaign it speaks to a larger issue in his game.

Bit of fun, innit?
With the requisite number of reds, and no time-limit or shotclock

I'm out again most of the day on Saturday. Much like I was for the last Mixed Doubles.
I'll try and watch some on Easter Sunday.

Personal circumstances?
Perhaps WST shouldn't have scheduled Mark Allen's best of 19 match against John Higgins to be played to a finish on Monday.

Isn't their fault. As far as they knew, he was in the area anyway.
