Did anybody read the Phantom Tollbooth as a kid?
There was a bit, to help demonstrate the concept of perspective to kids, there was a bit with the World's Tallest Midget. He also met the World's Shortest Giant, the World's Fattest Thin Man and the World's Thinnest Fat Man. They were all the same guy, who was neither tall, short, fat or thin.

Yes, it specifically said so in the book. Published in 1961.
It was way ahead of it's time.

Ronnie's actually playing in this thing, today. So far he has beaten Craigie and Slessor in deciders...

If he were to win the event, I wouldn't be surprised if he were to retire immediately afterward.

I thought Judd was supposed to be playing this week. Extremely unliklely he'll make 100 centuries this season now.

It's not the be all and end all, is it? He's achieved it before.
It's just an achievement for show, without actually meaning anything.

Comfortable win for Elliot Slessor over Pang Junxu. Elliot Slessor will probably be a little disappointed not to have made a century in frame two, but more importantly pleased with a win which he needed to maintain serious hopes of reaching the group semi-final. Next up Ronnie O'Sullivan versus Joe O'Connor.

Joe O'Connor first in breaks down on 28. Ronnie O'Sullivan follows suit. 28-28. It's a seven-reds frame. Ronnie O'Sullivan attempts a long red to top left corner. Joe O'Connor, given an easy opener, says thank-you. 65 clearance. Joe O'Connor 2-1.

Time for wst to take steps, it's not the O'Sullivan tour . He's not interested in the game or fellow pros.Lost all respect, hope he goes to China and stays there.

One fellow professional missed out on the opportunity to play a minimum seven matches and earn at least a few bob - can't be sure but think that pro was Thepchaiya Un-Nooh.
Any player may be forced to pull out late due unforeseen circumstances but circumstances aren't unforeseen if they occur regularly.
Suggest that if a player pulls out of three or more tournaments during a season from any moment less than one week before their opening match, they should then be banned from competing in every one of those events the following season.

And you get the feeling Ronnie would happily take that deal.
He’s either trying to make some sort of point, or he genuinely wants out. There’s nothing wrong with either, but the way he’s going about it is getting really tiresome and problematic.
Decide what the hell it is you want, Ronnie. Accept that it will likely mean you can’t have your cake and eat it, and then go about doing it properly. Playing games is just toxic.

Except, it
kinda is. Ratings for both the UK and Masters finals were roughly a million percent higher this year (with Ronnie in them) than they were last year (without Ronnie in them).
There's little doubt that WST needs Ronnie more than Ronnie needs WST, which doesn't mean that he should feel free to do whatever he wants, but it does mean that WST has to be careful not to overly upset their golden goose.

His time at the top is coming to an end and trying to squeeze every pay day to the max.Snooker will survive after osullivan, it did after Hendry and Davis.

Yeah, but a big part of why snooker survived after Hendry and Davis is that it had Ronnie...
