Carter and Allen don’t need this, this should be a reverse masters no top 16 allowed, the lower ranked players desperately need a boost

Yeah, if WST is gonna make this a ranking event because players need "earning opportunities", then the event should be limited to players who actually need the earnings...

Let’s say Hallworth wins it, how does this work in regards of ranking prize money when he’s only classed as an amateur this season ? I knows he’s played in a few q tour tournaments. Will the 50k prize money pretty much get him on tour next season or does it not count as he’s an amateur.
