Congrats to Lyu. Didnt expect Ronnies level to go down like that after the previous matches where he played pretty good. This came from nowhere.

Yes I think that's fair. We have to reconcile ourselves to the fact that Ronnie O'Sullivan is 47, and he isn't going to be able to win all the time.
It's Lyu's best ever win. He was completely ignored in WST's reports yesterday, so they will once again be red-faced.

Ronnie is no longer a tournament finalist, at least in tournaments that require him to win 6 matches to reach the final. He has shown that everywhere.

Luckily for him, he doesn’t need to win 6 matches to reach the finals of World Championship, Masters and UK.
