Wow. A Jak Jones semi-final watache thread. Wonder what the odds on that would have been, even two weeks ago

Is that Jak Jones’ mantra, what he repeats to himself in the mirror just before he goes out to play?

Nah, there's some bloke called Neil who works in a local garage in Sheffield who is going to turn up and give it a go.

You’re thinking of Niall Robinson. Easy mistake to make.

He's surprisingly good in the box. Good pairing with Virgo.

Wasn’t a criticism of the quality of his commentary, enjoying it
But shouldn’t he be focusing on himself, his game and his wellbeing rather than being cooped up in the commentary box watching potential future opponents

Your probably right. But if it means less Rob Walker in the box I'm all for it!

I’d imagine it’s different for everyone and some players aren’t affected by the odd stint in the box. And maybe they wouldn’t even be on the practice table otherwise and they’d be sat watching the match anyway. So effectively, supplementing that with a little chat with JV is probably not going to do them much harm.

It does seem like a good match to be fair. But tough luck it's competing with Ronnie.
