Allen misses the blue on 39 and it's a good chance here for Ding.

Ding breaks down on 19. I'm not sure why he's put the yellow safe though as he will need it.

Allen has been so poor since the WGP. Wouldn’t surprise me to see another early exit at the Crucible

Dominant Ding beats Atrocious Allen.
Good to see him win with a big break and not fall over the line.

Apologising has just got out of hand in snooker.
Sorry to point that out

I guess I have to support Selby tomorrow then. I think if Ding goes into his semi final already seeded for the Crucible he will play with a lot more freedom and I'd fancy him strongly to beat Carter or Wilson. If he goes into the semi final needing to to win to qualify then he may be under a lot more pressure.

It's reminding of the 18/19 when Allen was in great form before Christmas and then faded later in the season.

Ding is such a great player that he does not have to be limited by the laws of time and space.

Maybe, upon winning his second Crucible, Ding will follow it up by finally winning his first.
